Review guidelines

DRAFT These guidelines are a draft and may change.

Reviews help artists choose a mentor. Only the artist of a completed session can review it, once, so every review is marked “Verified session”.

A review should

Be about your own session: what was useful, what wasn’t, and what another artist would want to know.
Be honest and specific, and respectful even when it’s critical.
Leave out personal details: no emails, phone numbers, addresses or private information about anyone.
Leave out links, promotion and anything unrelated to the session.
Contain no harassment, hate speech, threats or sexual content.

Mentor replies

Mentors can post one public reply to each review. The same guidelines apply.

When a review is hidden

Second Look may hide a review (and its reply) that breaks these guidelines. Hidden reviews don’t count toward a mentor’s rating. The mentor sees the reason, and every hide is logged. We don’t edit reviews, and we don’t hide a review for being negative.

Names

Reviews show your first name and last initial, or “Anonymous” if you choose. Your full name and email are never shown.
